Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of StepMatches (the “app”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Who can use StepMatches
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If we learn you’re under 18, we’ll close the account. You must provide accurate information and you may only have one account.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Conduct
You agree to follow our Community Code. Anything on the prohibited list there — harassment, impersonation, commercial spam, sexually explicit content, doxxing, threats — is grounds for removal from StepMatches. We may remove content or suspend accounts without prior notice when safety is at stake.
4. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post (your bio, photos, messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and back up your content for the purpose of running the service. You can delete your content (or your account) at any time, which terminates that license going forward.
5. Reports and blocking
You can report or block any user from their profile or chat thread. Reports go to our safety team, which reviews objectionable-content reports within 24 hours. We may remove content or eject users in response. Repeat offenders are banned.
6. Service availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We’re not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Termination
You can stop using StepMatches at any time and delete your account from Settings. We can terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Code, or if we believe doing so protects other users.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we’ll let you know in the app or by email and ask you to re-accept on next sign-in.
